Partners Community Health (PCH) brought together staff, physicians, volunteers, students, and community partners on Wednesday, August 12 for the second annual TeamPCH Gratitude & Wellness Day, a celebration dedicated to recognizing the people who make PCH extraordinary.
Held in the Wellbrook Place West Community Lounge, the day featured breakfast and lunch celebrations served by PCH Leadership, wellness activities, clinical health services, raffle prizes, and opportunities for staff to connect with colleagues, leaders, and community partners.
The event was designed to thank #TeamPCH for their dedication and commitment while promoting health, wellness, and belonging across the organization.
“TeamPCH Gratitude & Wellness Day is an opportunity for us to pause and recognize the incredible people who bring our mission and values to life every day,” says Tess Romain, President & CEO, PCH. “Whether caring for residents and clients, supporting families, welcoming visitors, or contributing behind the scenes, every team member plays an important role in creating exceptional experiences and outcomes.”
Throughout the day, staff had access to wellness services provided by Black Health Social Services (BHSS), including A1C testing, movement sessions, blood pressure screenings, and health education focused on healthy eating for busy professionals. Team members also connected with representatives from Indus Community Services, who provided health promotion resources and engagement activities designed to support overall well-being.
A special thank you to Black Health Social Services and Indus Community Services for partnering with PCH to make this event possible and for their ongoing commitment to improving health and wellness in our community.
The event supports PCH’s Strategic Plan pillar, Elevate our People for the Future, and also aligns with August’s Belonging@PCH theme, Innovation, which focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning, embracing new ideas and team well-being to ensure high-quality care and future readiness.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, organized, and supported this year’s event. Together, we continue to make PCH an exceptional place to work, learn, volunteer, and receive care.
