As of April 1st, 2022, Partners Community Health owns and operates Camilla Care Community, a 236-bed long-term care community in Mississauga. Camilla is led and staffed by experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to working with community partners to ensure the highest-quality care through an interconnected suite of programs and services for residents and families.

Future Long-Term Care
Partners Community Health will be operating a new health centre at 2180 Speakman Drive in Mississauga. The centre, which is currently being built by Trillium Health Partners (THP), will include 632 new long-term care beds, as well as additional programs operated in collaboration with partner organizations.
Long-term care capacity at the new centre is being built to meet the latest standards for LTC home design and safety, including private bedrooms; appropriately sized lounge and dining areas; outdoor terraces and spaces; and, enhancements to HVAC including capability for 100% fresh air supply.
The centre will also include programs that allow people to receive the care they need close to home, including:
- Two units specially designed to safely care for people who live with advanced dementia
- A day program for older adults who require regular enrolment in activities and services focused on maintaining their independence in order to prevent or delay the need for hospital or long-term care
- A dialysis program for long-term care residents and members of the community living with chronic kidney disease, operated by Trillium Health Partners
- Virtual models of care will be used to connect the homes’ primary care model to hospital specialists at Trillium Health Partners, increasing the quality of resident care
Future phases of the long-term care centre include a residential hospice (built and operated by Heart House Hospice) and a health services building.
Camilla Care will remain open until the new centre is open and operational and all residents of Camilla are comfortably settled in a new home of their choosing, including the Speakman Drive centre. Only at this time will Camilla cease operations.
